Eagle Point: Super Families, Super Community

Last week, BC Children's Hospital Foundation recognized several super families -- an entire Super Community, in fact -- for showing care, support and love in times of adversity.
The October 26th winner of our contest was Eagle Point, a Port Moody townhouse complex which exemplifies the best qualities of community.
In the past 10 years, several children from Eagle Point have been treated for serious illnesses at BC Children's Hospital. As Amy O'Brian of the Vancouver Sun tells it, the toughest time for the community came in the fall of 2007, when three children, all neighbours, were fighting for their lives at BC Children's Hospital...
