Contribution by Philipp Postrehovsky, Grind For Kids Ambassador Thanks to the help of Grouse Mountain, and Metro Vancouver, the Grouse Grind opened this month after a record snow pack delayed the opening and required the top portion to be dug out! With the opening comes the start of the 2nd year of the Grind For Kids program, presented by Whistler Water, which last year saw $172,200 raised after 4524 counted Grinds in support of BC Children's Hospital Foundation. The idea behind the program is simple. Get everyone you know to pledge $1 or more for every Grouse Grind you do between now and September to help raise a mountain of money for BC Children's Hospital! Your supporters can also make a one-time donation. Help sick kids every 2830 steps of the way. SIGN UP NOW to make every Grouse Grind count! Making every Grouse Grind count means you can also win some awesome weekly and grand prizes. There are even more prizes to be won if you help spread the word!
