Kids Raising Funds for Kids

It’s the time of year when Sunny Bear visits schools in the Lower Mainland, educating students about the hospital and ChildRun. Recently Sunny Bear stopped by Queen Elizabeth Elementary School, and boy were the kids inspired!

Each of the kids in grade three thought about what they would like to sell to raise money to help kids with cancer, with fundraising efforts going to ChildRun. They decided that every Monday, Wednesday and Friday after school, for two weeks, they would sell their wares. They made $117 on their first day alone (Monday, April 23rd)!

If you’d like to help these great kids in their fundraising efforts, stop by Queen Elizabeth Elementary after school, at 4275 Crown Street in Vancouver, on Wednesday or Friday this week! Some of the stuff they intend to sell is: homemade jewellery, beading, stuffies, candy "popsicles", treat bags, Rice Krispie squares and knitted scarves.

We’d love to hear how you’re fundraising for this year’s ChildRun. Let us know at childrun@bcchf.ca or call 604-875-2444. We may even feature you on the blog, Facebook or Twitter!

  • Once the seller and buyer have signed the contract, the agent or real estate broker must make sure that all terms of the contract are met before the closing date of the contract. If the seller agrees to make repairs, agents and brokers must ensure that they are carried out. Increasingly, agents and brokers must deal with environmental issues, such as advising buyers about lead paint on the walls.

  • The most substantial uses in education is the use of technology. Also technology is an increasingly influential factor in education. Computers and mobile phones are used in developed countries both to complement established education practices and develop new ways of learning such as online education. Thanks.
