We’re getting excited about selling 50/50 tickets at Vancouver Whitecaps FC home matches to raise funds and awareness for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Come on out and volunteer with us!
We ask that volunteers arrive at BC Place 1.5 hours before doors open to the public. Volunteers will be selling 50/50 tickets during the Caps Kick-off to the public until the 60th minute (a four-hour shift maximum). A volunteer leader will train you on your duties before your first shift. At the 60 minute mark, volunteers are to return to the 50/50 office and return their devices and the money they have collected. At the end of the shift, volunteers will have the chance to watch the remainder of the match for free.
Signing up for shifts:
Please sign up online for volunteer shifts. If you need to cancel a shift or make any changes, you can adjust your shifts through the online system. If you have further questions, please email email@example.com directly. You will receive a confirmation email 3 days prior to the shift you have signed up for.
Arriving at the arena:
Arrive at BC Place Stadium at the designated time. Volunteers will meet outside the East Entrance of BC Place Stadium. You will be greeted by a staff member who will hand out passes required for volunteers to enter the stadium. Parking around Rogers Arena on game nights can be difficult. It is recommended that you walk, take transit or get dropped off.
