Mandarin Miracle Weekend Telethon
This fundraising initiative, broadcast on LS Times TV and Shaw Cable, is part of the Chinese-Canadian Miracle Weekend. The objective is to educate the Mandarin community on the work at Children's Hospital and how their support benefits young British Columbians, and to inspire support. This two-hour educational and entertaining program features inspiring patient vignettes, hospital family interviews and will highlight different community supporters.
This past year, the 2012 Mandarin Miracle Weekend celebrated its success with a fundraising dinner at Shiang Garden Seafood Restaurant. With the generosity of sponsors and donors and the tireless supports of volunteers, $123,888 was raised towards the Operation Superhero Campaign for the construction of an oncology inpatient unit at the new Children’s Hospital.

Golf for Kids Tournament
The annual Golf For Kids Tournamen" will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club. This annual golf tournament provides participants with the opportunity to enjoy a day of golfing, networking with colleagues while supporting the child health.
Last year this fun tournament hosted 144 golfers for a day of golf followed by an evening reception and dinner. Like us on Facebook
Love in Action Banquet
The Love in Action banquet is a partnership between five fine-dining restaurant sponsors and BC Children's Hospital Foundation. Tickets are on sale now until the end of June, and are valid immediately until November 30.

Net cost of dinner for / Restaurant receives: $ 218.00
Donation eligible for tax receipt / Children's Hospital receives: $ 180.00

Love & Peace StarQuest
The "Love & Peace StarQuest Talent Show" fundraising event encouraged children and youth to play an active role in helping other children. Participants raised funds for Children's Hospital through collecting pledges for their performances, while paying tribute to their mothers. Activities included performances, charity sales and game booths.
