BC'S KIDS TO BENEFIT FROM MOTHER'S DAY BRUNCH

Local Restaurants Support BC Children's Hospital

May 5, 2009 - Vancouver - This Mother's Day Vancouver diners can enjoy a great meal while supporting BC's kids. On Sunday, May 10, participating restaurants in the Caring a la Carte Campaign will donate a portion of their sales to BC Children's Hospital. Proceeds will go toward urgent hospital needs including essential equipment upgrades and support of research and education programs for caregivers.

"This is a great way for people to treat their mothers and help BC's kids at the same time," said Kimberley Fenlon, vice president and chief philanthropy officer at BC Children's Hospital Foundation. "We're thrilled that the local hospitality industry has rallied to support BC Children's Hospital through this Mother's Day Brunch."

Restaurants in the Caring a la Carte program include Best Western Tin Wis, Boston Pizza Big Bend, The Cannery, Elixir at Opus, Fairmont Chateau Whistler Resort, Fairmont Vancouver Airport, Fifty Two 80 Bistro at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler, The Fish House in Stanley Park, Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver, Fresh Restaurant & Lounge at the Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport, Herons Restaurant at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel, Inlets Bistro & Lounge at the Blue Horizon Hotel, Loden Hotel, Marriott Vancouver Pinnacle Downtown, Stages Bistro at the Holiday Inn Vancouver Centre and Zin Restaurant & Lounge at the Pacific Palisades Hotel.
