Take a dip in the dunk tank or indulge in reflexology treatments to benefit a local family.
Family Fun Day is Sept. 13 to raise money for the Williams family, whose 11-year-old son Matt is fighting cancer at BC Children's Hospital.
Hip hop dance lessons, face painting, barbecue and more will be available. There will also be a raffle with prizes ranging from gift certificates to an autographed Shamrocks jersey. All proceeds go to help the Langford family while Matt is in Vancouver.
Matt was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in June. The Happy Valley elementary school student is expected to be at BC Children's Hospital for up to a year as he undergoes treatment.
For more information on Matt go to www.facebook.com and search the group "Get Well Soon Matt Williams."
The fun day is Sunday, Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Eagle Ridge community centre, 1089 Langford Pkwy.
