BALDING FOR DOLLARS’ MAIN EVENT

Mark your calendars for the 17th annual Balding for Dollars, happening Saturday, May 14 from 11 am to 4 pm at BC Children’s Hospital’s Child & Family Research Institute. Registration is open and online fundraising pages are available now for those brave enough to cut or shave their hair in support of children with cancer and blood disorders. For information visit www.baldingfordollars.com.

KIDS FOR KIDS AT SUNNY BEAR BIRTHDAY CLUB

Last year, 239 young people earned membership in the Sunny Bear Birthday Club by asking friends and family to donate to BC Children’s Hospital as part of their birthday celebrations. Members receive a special thank-you note in the mail and a certificate of thanks from Sunny Bear when they drop off their donations. Collect donations in person at your party or fundraise online with a Wall of Tribute page. For details visit www.bcchf.ca/birthday-donations or email birthdays@bcchf.ca.

GIFTS OF COMPASSION: WEDDING DONATIONS

A wedding celebrates the promise of a great future, and supporting BC Children’s Hospital as part of your celebration helps safeguard the future of BC’s children. Request a donation from your guests in lieu of a gift, or make a contribution to thank your guests for attending in lieu of traditional wedding favours and we’ll provide printed materials to inform your guests of your decision to donate. You’ll also receive a tax receipt for your contribution. Visit www.bcchf.ca/wedding-donations to request an information package.

BUILDING CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH ReaCH

BC Children’s Hospital Foundation celebrates the launch of the Realtors for Child Health (ReaCH) program for BC real estate agents who work for companies other than RE/MAX. This program helps set agents apart in a competitive marketplace by strengthening relationships with clients, generating customer loyalty, and enhancing their image and brand through support of BC’s sick and injured children. If you or a real estate agent you know would be interested in this program, contact Allison Hepworth at ahepworth@bcchf.ca or 604-875-2560.

BATS FOR A CAUSE
