Meet our Miracle Weekend Hosts
We're thrilled to have a great line up of Global BC reporters volunteering their time to host our 2015 Miracle Weekend starting at 7pm, Saturday, May 30!
Chris Gailus is an Emmy-winning anchor, winner of back-to-back Canadian Screen Awards for newscasting, and the popular host of Global BC’s News Hour. We’re honoured to have Chris’s active support of BC Children’s Hospital.
Elaine Yong and Aaron McArthur are award-winning journalists with Global BC; they’re also parents to Addison, the first infant to receive a heart transplant in BC. The couple advocates on behalf of BC Children’s Hospital and the importance of organ donation.
Steve Darling, the well-known, and well loved, co-host of Global BC Morning News has been with Global for more than 10 years and supports BC Children's Hospital and Miracle Weekend throughout the year. We're lucky to have Steve back this year!
Joining us in studio this year, is Catherine Urquhart! A veteran reporter who’s been part of the Global team since 1995, Catherine has participated in past Miracle Weekend interviews with families and donors across the province.
