Thank you to the donors who tuned in to RISE for BC’s Kids and helped to raise funds for BC Children’s Hospital. We are so grateful for your support in our quest to conquer childhood illnesses.

For nearly 35 years, RISE for BC’s Kids (formerly Miracle Weekend), an annual broadcast on Global BC, has shared extraordinary stories of kids, families, health care experts and supporters of BC Children’s Hospital.

Fuel our quest to transform lives

During RISE for BC’s Kids, viewers learned about the ways that experts at BC Children’s Hospital never stop searching for answers that will improve the lives of sick and injured children. This quest isn’t easy—but as hard as it is to be the doctor, parent or loved one of an ill child, it’s even tougher to be that child. The fight to protect our children is one that every one of us might fight together.

That’s where monthly giving can make all the difference and RISE for BC’s Kids launched our ambitious goal to ensure that the work to solve the biggest challenges in children’s health can continue today, and tomorrow: 500 new monthly donors every month.

We are so grateful for the support of our generous sponsors. Thank you to our friends at Canadian Pacific (CP) who matched donations during the broadcast. CP’s matched funds will be directed toward the Children’s Heart Centre at BC Children’s Hospital—helping elevate care for kids and families battling heart disease.

Thank you for Computer Talk for making our virtual call centre possible during the broadcast that allowed our volunteers to answer calls from donors from the comfort and safety of home.

Special thanks to our sponsors
