- Encourage friends, and everyone you know (your hairdresser, neighbour, cousins, etc.) to support you.
- Invite your Facebook friends to make a donation in support of your goal.
- Print your pledge form and take it everywhere you go.
- Remind supporters they can donate via credit card – it’s quick, easy and often results in higher amounts.
- Make a donation yourself - set the pace for the rest of your donors!
- Remind people that tax receipts are automatically issued for gifts of $20 or more.
- Throw a fundraising event, do a lemonade stand. Be creative!
- Email your friends and family the link to your personal fundraising page and ask them to support you.
- Get your whole school or neighbourhood involved. They may also want to collect donations in support of your efforts. It will be rewarding for them to see you reach your fitness and fundraising goals.
