Where does the money raised at RBC Race for the Kids go?

Funds raised at RBC Race for the Kids will support pediatric oncology programs and mental health initiatives at BC Children’s Hospital. Funding for childhood cancer will be go towards patient care areas and research to explore better treatment options. The Mental Health program will provide support for a comprehensive and integrated on-line access hub for children, youth, families and caregivers.

Meet Will Heine, our 2017 RBC Race for the Kids Champion. Like most boys his age, Will loves hockey. Being chosen for the opening puck drop for the Vancouver Canucks was certainly a highlight of this young man’s life, but the road leading up to that moment has been a difficult one. 2016 RBC Run for the Kids support

We are pleased to announce that 100 per cent of all donations raised at the 2016 RBC Run for the Kids went directly toward pediatric oncology research and treatment as well as mental health initiatives at BC Children’s Hospital. Thanks to our wonderful 2016 sponsors, whose support helped underwrite event costs, we were able to allocate even more of the proceeds to the hospital.
