We express our deepest appreciation to the Chinese community for their steadfast dedication and generous support, which is profoundly impacting the lives of children and families throughout our province. Through the collaborative efforts of the Chinese-Canadian RISE (CCRISE) Committee and the Mandarin-speaking Chinese-Canadian Care (CCCARE) Committee, we are thrilled to announce that this year’s fundraising efforts have exceeded $1.4 million for BC Children’s Hospital. Remarkably, $1 million of this total will directly benefit the Food Allergy Immunotherapy Program (FAIT), providing critical assistance to children with life-threatening food allergies.
The 36th annual Chinese-Canadian RISE for BC Kids is a two-day multimedia broadcast. The telethon and radiothon will broadcast on Fairchild Television and CHBM AM1320 on May 31 and June 1, 2024.
