Our Cause
The moment a family first learns their child has cancer, they take the first step on a heart-wrenching journey—one where the outcome is uncertain. They face a one in five chance that, despite all of the recent advances in pediatric cancer treatment, their child will not survive. And even if they do, the side effects from their treatments can have devastating, long-term impacts. What if this year, you could give hope to all kids with cancer—kids like Kamryn?

As British Columbia’s premiere fundraising gala, the Crystal Ball, presented by Nicola Wealth, brings together the most generous of BC’s philanthropic leaders, for an exciting and emotional evening in support of the children and families served by BC Children’s Hospital.
Join our co-hosts, Chris Gailus and Fred Lee, as we celebrate the resilience of our patient families, enjoy an exquisite meal and raise funds to help change outcomes for the 20% of kids with childhood cancers that don’t make it. This will be a Crystal Ball to remember.

In accordance with BC Public Health Orders, all attendees (guests, staff and vendors) at the Fairmont Pacific Rim will need to complete a COVID Self-Assessment prior to attendance and will require proof of double-vaccination upon arrival at the event.
