Is there a participation fee?

The sponsorship package gives you a spot for up to 2 team members on a bike.

Can I get a tax receipt for the participation fee?

Acknowledgement receipts can be used to write off contributions from organizations as a business expense to reduce taxable profits at the end of the year.

How many cyclists can we have on a team?

A maximum of two.

Is my team expected to fundraise?

Yes, we encourage all teams to raise a minimum of $1,000 for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. To learn more please visit our Fundraising Tips page.

What is eligible for a tax receipt and what isn’t?

Donations over $20 are eligible for an official income tax receipt. We are not able to issue an official income tax receipt for the registration fee, purchase of tickets, raffle tickets or items (i.e. teddy bears). Donations collected by the event organizer that are donated by the public are not eligible to be tax receipted in the name of the event organizer.
